Video cameras mounted on the helmet of motorcycle riders recently captured a scene that is difficult to watch. The viral video shows a dog running in front of a pack of motorcycles, causing two to crash in an effort to avoid hitting the dog. Then, to make things even scarier, an oncoming semi truck barely misses one of the riders who was thrown off his bike.
The dog owners should have had the dog on a leash, but the Appleton motorcycle riders felt so lucky to be alive, they decided not to press charges. The driver of the semi truck also feels lucky, as he nearly landed in a ditch as he swerved in order to avoid the motorcyclists. Fortunately, no life threatening injuries were reported as a result of this accident.
Luckily, no one involved in this incident was seriously injured, though one rider has been experiencing post-traumatic stress and anxiety after his bike was totaled in the accident. If you or a loved one has been injured in a motorcycle accident or semi truck accident, you may be eligible to take legal action against the party responsible for your injuries.
