A two-vehicle collision on Monday, April 21 resulted in the death of one Stoddard woman.
According to reports, the fatal head-on collision occurred on Highway 35 around 8 p.m. The Vernon County Sheriff’s Department reported that a southbound vehicle driven by Eunice Beagle, 45, collided with the northbound car of Dorothy Roth, 68.
When the crash occurred, Beagle was attempting to pass another car in the southbound lane. Beagle was pronounced dead at the hospital while Roth was treated in the hospital for multiple injuries.
