In early November, a teacher’s aide at Appleton West High School was arrested and charged with sexual assault after admitting to having a sexual relationship with a student.
At least four counts of sexual assault charges were filed against 44-year-old Laura Bates after she confessed to having had sexual intercourse with a 17-year-old student.
Bates was released from jail on Tuesday, December 3 after a $20,000 bond was paid. She will appear in court on Monday, December 30.
