On Sunday afternoon, a four-car pile-up was the direct result of an attempted U-Turn in Oak Creek.
According to police reports, a motor vehicle was attempting to make a U-Turn in the middle of a regular lane, instead of the designated turn lane. The sudden stop caused the vehicle to be rear-ended from the car behind. This initial accident caused a chain reaction that involved four vehicles.
A witness claims that the vehicle in the front also did not use a turn signal at the time of the accident. One person suffered minor injuries in the collision, but refused medical attention. A driver in the accident received a citation for following another vehicle too closely.
