An Appleton man was injured in an auto accident in GrandChute Tuesday afternoon.
According to officials with the Grand Chute PoliceDepartment, the accident occurred shortly before 3:00 p.m. on Wisconsin Avenue,just west of Highway 41 near the Fox River Mall. Police say a 53 year-oldAppleton man suffered from a medical condition and ended up hitting one vehiclebefore moving into oncoming lanes and colliding with two more before his carcame to a stop.
According to the accident report, the Appleton man andanother driver, a 40 year-old man from Greenfield, sustained serious injuriesin the accident. Police however, described their injuries asnon-life-threatening.
A third person was injured in the accident but was treatedat the scene, the report states.
Everyone in the crash was wearing a seatbelt.
