The risk of accidents on frozen lakes and ponds

by Administrator 20. January 2010 01:25

During the winter months in Wisconsin, many of the lakes and ponds freeze over. In most cases, the sheets of ice covering these bodies of water provide a solid surface for both walking and driving.

However, even when the ice is thick, there is a risk that the ice will crack. When this occurs, both cars and pedestrians could fall through the ice and into the freezing cold water.

If you or anyone you know has been injured in a broken ice accident, contact the Appleton personal injury attorneys of Habush, Habush, & Rottier, S.C., at 800-242-2874.
