Onita Bennett has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Pine Forest Nursing and Rehabilitation Centers after the death of her husband. Bennett claims that the negligence of the physicians and staff led to the numerous falls and injuries that her late husband sustained during his time at the nursing home. Bennett claims that the falls that her husband took would not have happened if he had been properly supervised by the nursing home staff. Mr. Bennett suffered a fractured hip and a brain hemorrhage as a result of his falls. Onita Bennett is seeking damages for physical pain, physical impairment, medical expenses, and mental anguish.
