A 26-year-old man is in critical
condition after a crash early Saturday morning.
At around 5:00 a.m. Saturday, the man
was driving on the 1900 block of Newberry Street when he slammed into
a tree and a powerline pole, flipping his car. He was rushed to the
Theda Clark Medical Center with serious injuries. Police say that
excessive speed and alcohol might have been a factor in the crash.
