by Administrator 26. March 2010 05:30

Appleton police released a report concerning the 31-vehicle pileup. According to the report, about one-third of the drivers may have been responsible for contributing to the crash.

While the pile-up was initially triggered by one car rear-ending another vehicle, the subsequent pileup was likely the result of multiple drivers driving too fast for conditions. The pileup led to injuries to more than 21 people.
