Sheboygan Falls plane crashes in field

by Administrator 21. May 2010 03:31

A single-engine plane crashed in a farm field in Sheboygan Falls on its approach to the nearby airport.

The pilot was performing a routine flight when the plane's engine suddenly began to fail. The 53 year-old man attempted to direct the plane back to the runway, but crashed during his approach. He sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by emergency medical personnel.

Mechanical failures and defects lead to plane crashes and other accidents each year. If you or someone you love has been hurt in an accident caused by a mechanical defect, you may have grounds to initiate a lawsuit for compensation.

“Guitar Hero” Toy Recalled

by Administrator 28. October 2008 09:10
A recently introduced controller to the Nintendo Wii video gamed "Guitar Hero" was recently recalled. The model, known as "Rage Wireless Guitars" reportedly has a defective circuit board that can lead to battery leaks. 57,000 of the controllers were shipped between June and September 2008, and the defect was only recently detected. So far there has only been one reported incident of a consumer suffering a chemical burn from this product. It appears that battery leakage will only occur if the batteries are installed incorrectly. However, chemical burns can be dangerous injuries, and consumers are encouraged to return the product to be on the safe side. If you or a loved one has been injured by a defective product, contact Appleton product liability attorneys Habush, Habush & Rottier at 920-738-0900.

Defective Roller Shoes - Lawsuit Filed

by Administrator 30. May 2008 03:05
Darla Taylor purchased a pair of "Star Roller Shoes" from a Value City Department Store in December, 2006. During that time, she was wearing the shoes and using them in an appropriate manner when a roller wheel flew off one of the shoes, causing her to fall and sustain serious injuries to her wrist. Taylor claims that the defective shoe was sold to her without the wheel being securely fastened or without the wheel assembly kit. She also claims that the shoes appeared to have been used before and returned to the store. Taylor states that the store did not provide adequate warnings against the dangers of the product. She seeks damages for lost wages, mental anguish, emotional distress, disability, and medical expenses. If you or a loved one has been injured due to a defective product, contact the defective product lawyers of Habush Habush & Rottier, S.C. by calling 1-800-757-8644 today.
