Federal investigators found that fatigue was a factor in the car accident that left comedian Tracy Morgan in a coma and another dead last year, an article from the Chicago tribune stated.
According to the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), Walmart truck driver Kevin Roper hadn’t slept for 28 hours when he crashed into Morgan’s limo, injuring several and killing comedian Jimmy McNair. Morgan and several others suffered injuries after Roper failed to slow down the truck in a construction zone. The NTSB also concluded that the limo passengers’ failure to wear seatbelts and properly adjust headrests played a role in the seriousness of injuries.
