Rock band singer Wes Scantlin charged with DUI

“Puddle of Mudd” vocalist, Wes Scantlin, is facing several charges after leading police on a high-speed chase while driving under the influence of alcohol in Bird Island, Minnesota on July 26th.

According to reports, Southern Minnesota police saw the 43-year-old Scantlin driving at very high speeds at around 4 a.m. the morning of the incident. When they tried to pull him over, Scantlin attempted to evade police. Upon questioning, police noticed signs of intoxications from Scantlin. Tests showed that his blood alcohol level was 0.31 percent. Scantlin appeared in Renville County District Court and was discharged from custody the following day after posting bail.
