Nearly 400 dive computers recalled due to possible leak

Posted under Product Liability

On Tusday, August 5 Reuters reported that about 390 wristwatch dive computers sold in the U.S. and Canada were recalled after being deemed defective.

Johnson Outdoors Diving issued recall for their “Scubapro Aladin2” dive computers. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission divers can be put in harms way if their wrist computer device malfunctions underwater at certain depths. At least four incidents of dive computer malfunction caused by leaks have been reported. Johnson Outdoors Diving has yet to receive any injury reports.
