Federal agency said Best Buy has sold recalled products

Posted under Product Liability

A federal agency is warning the public that Best Buy has sold several recalled products, an article in valleynewslive.com reported on July 26.

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), at least 10 different recalled gadgets and electronic appliances are still available at Best Buy and other stores across the country. The store reportedly sold several products that were recalled in 2012 and 2013 due to potential injury hazards they may pose to users. The CPSC said that consumers who bought the recalled items should notify the companies that issued the recalls in order to resolve any problems. Selling or reselling recalled products in the U.S. is considered illegal.
