NFL concussion lawsuit may change after death of Ray Easterling

Posted under Wrongful Death

Last week, former NFL football player, Ray Easterling, was found dead in his home after suffering a gun shot wound that looks like it was self-inflicted. He was involved in the concussion lawsuit against the organization and because of his death, the case may turn from personal injury to a wrongful death case.

According to sources close to Easterling, the 62-year-old former football player has been struggling with mental issues for the past six months, but his death is still a shock to those close to him.

Easterling was involved in a concussion lawsuit filed against the NFL that stated that the negligence and carelessness of the football league caused the players to suffer from long-term head injuries from the mistreatment of concussions while in the league.
