Posted under Personal Injury

The Appleton personal injury lawyers of Habush Habush & Rottier, S.C. have learned that 69 cases of whooping cough have been reported in the Appleton School District.

There are several more cases that are more than likely going to be reported soon, after the testing has been completed. This outbreak is the second largest in Appleton, Wisconsin, with the largest one occurring in 2004 with 91 reported cases.

A case of tuberculosis has been reported at North High School, and therefore health officials have plans to test roughly 300 students for symptoms of tuberculosis in order to make sure that the condition does not spread as easily. The screening for this disease will take place next week.
