Two people were injured in an Appleton car accident Sundaymorning.
According to officials with the Appleton Police Department,the accident occurred shortly after 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of FranklinStreet and Richmond Street, which is also State 47. Police say a pickup truckdriven by a 49 year-old Menasha man collided with a sedan driven by a 78year-old Appleton man and a 77 year-old Appleton woman.
According to Sergeant Pat DeWall, the sedan’s two occupantswere transported by ambulance to St. Elizabeth Hospital for treatment. Thewoman was listed in critical conditions and the man was released from thehospital after being treated for his injuries, DeWall said.
The driver of the truck was not injured in the accident.
