Construction worker critically injured in accident in Mosinee

Posted under Uncategorized

A recent construction accident in Mosinee, Wisconsin left 54-year old Rocky Hanson in critical condition.  Reports indicate that the construction site where the accident occurred was located at 404 5th Street at around 8:40 A.M.

Hanson was driving a compacting machine at the construction site when the ground he was on gave way underneath him and the machine.  The machine slid down an embankment and fell on top of the construction worker.  Investigators revealed that the area of ground that collapsed was close to an excavated area, making it weaker than other areas at the site.

The worker was rushed to Wausau Hospital where he was listed as being in critical condition with unspecific injuries.
