Death of infant at day care center leads to wrongful death suit

Posted under Uncategorized

The death of 5-month of Grant Ogden in May 2007 led his parents, Craig and Georgia Ogden, to file a wrongful death lawsuit against their former day care center, Little Wonders Day Care, and its owner, Patricia Frasier.

The Ogdens enrolled their children, 5-month old Grant and 4-year old Lilyann, at Little Wonders Day Care in the spring of 2007.  A couple months later the couple began to feel unsatisfied with the center and planned on moving their children to a different day care provider.  Just before, Frasier found Grant in his crib, not breathing and unresponsive.  An hour after arriving at a nearby hospital, Grant was declared dead.

Frasier had received citations for regulation violations from the state prior to Grant's death.  Little Wonders Day Care shut down a day after the infant's death and Frasier's license was revoked.
