A dump truck driver was injured Monday in a crash on Highway 96.

According to officials with the Wisconsin State Patrol, 42 year-old Steven Huss, of Appleton, was injured when his dump truck crashed shortly after 6:00 p.m. Monday near Highway 96 in Grand Chute. Authorities say the dump truck was traveling northbound and had steering tire failure, causing the truck to hit the median, a traffic sign, and rollover.

Huss was transported, by ambulance, to Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah with non-life-threatening injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.

Highway 41 was reopened just after 8:00 p.m. Monday.
